By Alicia Daniels – My husband and I decided we wanted to do something fun, yet different recently.
We live in New Jersey and were looking at our options and decided to venture out to the Bucks County Wine Trail. I’m not sure I can put into words how amazing it was, but I’m going to try!
We started our day off at Crossing Vineyards and Winery, traveled throughout Bucks County, and finished at Sand Castle Winery. Along the way we stopped to appreciate the gorgeous scenery – pictures do not do this area justice.
Neither of us are wine connoisseurs. We are just every day people who enjoy our casual glass of wine – frequently! We were so warmly welcomed at each vineyard we visited.
With the Bucks County Wine Trail’s Passport to Bucks punch cards we were able to receive a free wine tasting at EVERY vineyard (7 in all). This made the wine tasting experience SO easy. The staff was so excited to help us and punch our cards – one vineyard even used a little lamb hole punch!
We laughed, joked, and truly bonded with everyone at every vineyard Not only were our experiences remarkable, but the wines were impeccable! We came home with five different wines!
I can’t say which vineyard was our favorite because I truly think each one made a lasting impression on us.
We are already talking about visiting again in a couple months! Thank you so much Bucks County Wine Trail for making an everlasting memory for my husband and I!
